My story is short and yet very simple. I was asked to go the Doctors by my wife. I had just turned 50 and she thought it would be good for me to get checked out, just a basic physical at the time. I went to my appointment and was told that my PSA seemed high. The doctor also decided to do a biopsy and found 4 cancer cells on the left side and 2 on the right side. He told me what my options were, and I decided to have my prostate removed. It now has been 2 years and a few months. But overall I'm blessed because I'm still alive and breathing, and I am passionate about finding a cure so others wont have to go through this.
